About rape victims

Yesterday, I was reading in the bible, in the book of Judges chapter 19 and verses 22-30 about a woman who was raped all because her stupid master (or whatever he was to her) gave her to some disgusting men so that they could rape her. What happened to her then? They not only raped her, but they hurt her so bad that she died.

I put the blame fully on her master. He was just as indecent and disgusting as those men who hurt her. He could've easily just fought those men for disturbing their peace and not leaving them alone, but instead, he hands over this woman who had done nothing to him and lets them do whatever they want to her. What she went through must've been very demeaning and degrading for her. As a woman myself, I can only imagine how she must've felt to be helpless to stop what was happening to her. It didn't mention her name, but I hope that God has her in his memory.
